#The Wall read moreWhy the Wall? Our backgrounds have lent us to incredible travel and amazing cultural experiences. Our desire to share the stories and happenings of our escapades motivated us to think of a singular opportunity where we could pour out our shared experiences into a home for the raconteur. We realized there is no better way to share the depth of an individual, or the warmth of a family, then through a meal and drinks. The Wall is just that.
The Wall is a home for the cheerful, a conduit for the story teller, an opportunity for the busy body, a reunion for families.
The Wall is a Drinking Experience paired with International Street Food.
Our experience invites guests to sample small quantities of a drink at our massive tap wall which has over 50 types of Craft Beer, Wine, Kombucha and Nitro Coffee. It’s our desire that guests spend more time with each other recanting about the day than waiting on a bar tender to pour them a drink.
The Wall features International Street Food served tapas style. Our menu has been designed to source local ingredients when possible. Every item on the menu has been organically designed to pair with specific beers from our wide selection of Craft Beers.
Dan has 15 years of strategic entertainment and leisure industry. With Universal Studios Recreation Group’s strategic planning group, he helped develop Universal’s global theme park development strategy; led corporate strategic planning efforts for Universal resort, Universal’s Port Aventura and Universal City Hollywood; and helped negotiate and led integration efforts for Universal’s acquisition of the Wet ‘N Wild water park chain. Previously, with the Disneyland Resort’s business planning group, Dan was deeply involved in business unit-level strategic, operational, and financial planning. Dan recently served as Chief Operating Officer of Palace Entertainment.
Ryan is Co-Founder of Hybrid One (H1), a company focused on seizing real and massive business opportunities, specifically to build community, deliver places and experiences that bring people with wildly different backgrounds and cultures and viewpoints together.
H1 is amassed with several different verticals including H1 Labs (H1 Labs is developing proprietary technologies for the leisure and hospitality industries, starting with our self-pour beer system), H1 Advisors ( Consulting on entertainment and leisure projects around the world)and Hybrid Enterprises ( Hybrid Enterprises is leveraging vertical integration opportunities with manufacturing operations in China, Peru and Mexico).
Ryan is co-owner of The Wall Restaurant, featuring over 50 taps of self-serve craft beer paired with international street food. The first restaurant is open in Orange, Ca and our Downtown LA location is in development. Ryan’s most recent venture is the acquisition of Splash Kingdom, a waterpark and entertainment center in Redlands, California. Ryan along with partner and Co-Owner Dan Martinez are working to turn the park around and become the leading entertainment destination in the Inland Empire.
Ryan kick-started his entrepreneurial journey in 2012, establishing his company, Hybrid Enterprises. Hybrid is not only a strategic partner for manufacturers in China and Mexico but also helps deliver manufacturing solutions for clients around the world. With over 6 years living in the Pearl River Delta area of China, Ryan speaks Mandarin which helped developed a strong network of relationships throughout Asia.
In 2008, Ryan helped launch a new movie studio in Guangzhou,China where he served as Executive Vice President. Over the course of the next several years, Ryan self-funded several charity initiatives in Bangladesh,India, Laos, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Cambodia. He is Co-Founder of the nonprofit foundation, Wonderlight, which will be driven on empowerment, inclusion and disrupting broken systems.
Ryan graduated from Saint Mary’s College of California in 2003 with a degree in Physiology, where he was a NCAA football athlete for four years. He later played semi-pro basketball in China for a year before starting his business career.
